Alpha for Prisons
The Alpha Course is run in prisons in over 74 countries on all continents around the world, in all types of prisons, half-way houses and remand centres for both men and women. It is also used in young offenders and juvenile institutions.
Alpha for Prisons is run over ten weeks, although it can be presented over a shorter period depending on the prison’s context. At each session there is time for discussion and fellowship. After the talk, participants go into pre-arranged groups, each led by a facilitator who has experience working with inmates.
